Note in pencil on verso of map. Impression is taken from map of Virginia, 1624 copper plate used for John Smith's General History of Virginia 80(1819) published at Richmond (Virginia). Reproduction made from plate in 1868 by T.H.W. Note in lower right corner of map, "Page 41, Smith." Top map is west direction.
