Transcript

February 26th, 1936. Mr. C. A. Guernsey 1726 Welton Street, Denver, Colorado. Dear Mr. Guernsey: Your letter of February 1st , also the Book “Wyoming Cowboy Days”, re- ceived and I am happy indeed to have an autographed copy. I know I shall get a great deal of pleasure out of reading the book and thank you for it. I think you were a clever de- tective to have found me at Balboa. I don’t think I was ever more surprised in my life than when I heard your voice. It was certainly mighty nice of you to take all that trouble and I did enjoy the visit so much. I am also very happy that you like my name and am proud that it is placed in the gallery with “euphonious” names. All good wishes for your continued good health and for the success of your book. Sincerely,
