TRAIL’S END Pasadena, California December 16, 1927 Dr. Philip G. Cole 470 Vanderbilt Ave. Brooklyn, New York Dear Philip: I sent by mail the two books that Ted could not find – kind of a messy time to sending anything but I hope they reach you O.K. I want to tell you and Katherine how much I appreciated your assistance in making the Grand Central show a success. Without the help of my friends it couldn’t have been what it was, and I do thank you so much. I hope your trip to Europe will be everything you planned and know you will have a wonderful time. My kindest wishes to the Cole family. Sincerely, MG
