[2] Apgar Sept 15, 1925 O.L. Evans Big Fork, Mont My dear Mrs. Evans This Russell family ^have been^ all split up Chas stayed here I took Jack home & he has started to school I came back up here yesterday & we leave for Pendelon[sic] tonight will return Saturday pack the pictures then home- we have all talked of the wonderful time we had at Swan, your hospitality just spreads around like sun shine and we were all so happy down there – drinking it in - and we thank you and yours for a lovely visit- Sincerely [handwritten vertically] advantage in conflicting eights- we will be glad to know your pleasure- Chas-Jack and I want to tell you what a happy time we had at your home, I wasam so sorry I did not see you again to tell you but some how I think you know Sincerely

The Homer and Helen Britzman collection consists of over 10,000 objects belonging to Charles M. Russell including letters, drawings, personal belongings, photos, and other memorabilia. Homer Britzman worked extensively with Charles Russell’s wife, Nancy, to write Russell’s biography. Chain of custody: Nancy Russell, Homer and Helen Britzman, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Amon Carter (inventoried collection in 1997), Gilcrease Management Trust (will become property of TU Special Collections if management agreement between TU and the City of Tulsa is severed).
