From Nancy C. Russell to Dan R. Conway, November 1, 1937
Description
Letter by Nancy C. Russell to Mr. Dan R. Conway; thanks Conway for the friendly message received on the 24th, states that the manuscript will be ready soon, and requests that he send any letters addressed to her to New York City. Typed.
Trail’s End Pasadena, California November 1, 1927 Mr. Dan R. Conway Great Falls, Montana Dear Mr. Conway: Yours of October 25th received. I thank your for the prints from the cuts and please keep the plates as you suggested until I see Mr. Maule then if they are to be used I can have you send them directly to him. I wrote a letter to Mr. Church, if you wish to go up and see him he will probably read it to you. I had several letters and some telegrams on the 24th, no message was received with a warmer feeling of friendship than that from Mr. Fligman, Sid Willis and yourself and I do appre- ciate that message. I am so glad George Speck and Bill Rance were out to see the monument. I know Charlie would have been happy to have said Hello! to them and maybe he did, even if they didn’t hear. I will not be here with ^when^ the copy of my manuscript comes but it will be here for me when I return home about the middle of December. Any letters addressed me me [sic] in care of the Grand Central Art Galleries, 15 Vanderbilt Ave., New York will be received. I am hoping things are rounding out for you people the way you had dreamed they should and you must know that my very best wishes are with you. Sincerely, MG
