Transcript

April 7, 1930. Mrs. George B. Calvert, 1501 Central Ave., Great Falls, Mont. Dear Lady: Your note of March 31st received. I’m sure your home-coming was a joy, when everyone of your children was so happy to see you and wasn’t it fine that Alice called you up so that you had the sound of all their voices to go to sleep with? Things are whirling along here at “Trail’s End,” at their usual speed. Mommy Tigg[sic] and Josephine are here and Jack and Mommy Tigg[sic] had breakfast upstairs. Jack goes in and occupies one of the beds while Mrs. Trigg stays in hers and they visit before they get dressed. I think Jack is better. How happy you are to have your baby girl in the family! Ella will make a marvelous little mother and I think her name is lovely - - Nancy Marie. Are they going to call her the full name? I’m glad; I’ve always like my name! Thank Uncle George for sending me the order for Mr. Stephenson’s book, “Good Medicine”. I’ve sent it in. I’m writing him to expect it. All join in very kindest wishes to the Calvert family. Sincerely, NCR:ED
