From Nancy C. Russell to Harry P. Stanford, August 9, 1928
Description
Letter by Nancy C. Russell to Mr. Harry P. Stanford; informs Stanford that she has with her his illustrated letter from Charles M. Russell, and she is planning on getting six others. Typed.
August 9, 1925[8] Mr. Harry P. Stanford Kalispell, Montana Dear Mr. Stanford: I have just returned from Great Falls and have transferred the studio property to the city and my visit was much more pleasant than I dreamed it could be . I also have all the clippings from Mr. Conway and your poem by Kipling, also your illustrated letter written by Charlie December 13, 1918, the one where the Indian has the queer rawhide hat on. I am so happy to have this to included in the book. You will be happy to know that Sid Willis is going to let me have six of his letters and try to get the Elks to let me have part of theirs. I don’t know yet what was the cause of the disturbance in their minds but if it has been expelled I am glad. The first time I come to Kalispell I will come out and see you and tell all little details that I have omitted in this letter. I am enclosing just a short acknowledgement of your letter of Charlie’s for your files. Sincerely yours, -verso- [August 9, 1928] Mr. Harry P. Stanford Kalispell, Montana Dear Mr. Stanford:
