Trail’s End Pasadena, California January 20, 1928 Mr. Owen Culbertson Harvard Law Club 30 East 37th St. New York, N. Y. Dear Mr. Culbertson: Your letter of January 9th received also the manuscript. I am sorry you did not get my letter in time to read it be- fore returning it. I think in my last letter I went as fully into the proposed book of letters as I could at this time and this is just to let you know that I have the manuscript and that I still want you to know how much I appreciate your interest and I hope we may have the pleasure of working together on something really important in the future. Sincerely, MG
