Description

Typed letter from Nancy C. Russell to Judge J. W. Bollinger dated November 26, 1919 about the frame for the "Dangerous Cripple" will be less expensive than expected and an upcoming visit.

Transcript

November 26th, 1919. Mr. Jas. W. Bollinger, Putnam Building, Davenport, Iowa. Dear Judge: I wish you could have heard Charlie laugh when he looked at the pictures of the bunch standing outside the cabin. You folks must have had a wonderful time. I am glad you like “The Mexican Merchant”. I like it too. “The Fire Canoe” looks very beautiful since it has its new frame. We expect to go to Minneapolis next week. Will let you know later just when Charlie can get away for that little visit with you. I have a nice surprise for you. The frame for “The Dangerous Cripple” did not cost as much as I feared it would. This is unusual news, don’t you think? Charlie joins in best wishes to you all. Sincerely,
