Transcript

866 N. Chester, Pasadena, Cal. March 17, 1920. Hon. James W. Bollinger, 513 Putnam Building., Davenport, Iowa. My Dear Judge: We are sending by Express, the picture of The Three Wise Men. I am so sorry it was impossible to get a plain dark gray frame in this part of the country. I feel sure you will be more fortunate in your town. We triedin [sic] Los Angeles and were unable to get it there, so I am sending the picture without the frame. I have delayed shipment ten days trying to get a frame. Chas is away with some old friends down at the Beach today. Kindest regards, Sincerely,
