From Nancy C. Russell to W. T. Taylor, May 20, 1939
Description
Typed letter from Nancy C. Russell to Mr. W.T. Taylor dated May 20, 1939 about her cabin being broken into again.
Trail’s End 725 Michigan Boulevard Pasadena, California. May 20th, 1939. Mr. W.T. Taylor, 27 No. Fourth Ave. East Kalispell, Montana. Dear Bill: I have just had a letter from Guss Aubert at Belton who has attended to shovelling [sic] the snow from my cabin at the Lake for a number of years. He said the place has been broken into again – entrance was gained by taking out a window. He said it looks like everything has been taken out of the desk and everything scattered around everywhere. He also says he doesn’t have the keys to the cabin as he gave them to Ted when he was up there moving out some of my things and would return the keys on his way back to California. I hope you have come across these keys at Ted’s place. If so, will you please send them to Mr. Guss Aubert, Box 47, Belton, Montana. If they are not the right keys he will return them to you – if they are the right ones, he will keep them. I haven’t heard from Betty Lou Elliott for a long time but am hoping her mother is improving and that she is comfort- able. I am sitting up in a wheel chair for two hours at a time now but I don’t walk yet. In time I will be doing just that. Let me know if you find the keys and when you send them. Thank you so much. Sincerely,
