Transcript

January 24, 1919. Dr. O. M. Lanstrum, Helena, Mont. Dear Dr. Lanstrum:- Have you heard anything about the Linderman calendar? Are they working on it or have you gotten the estimate yet? Chas. is getting over the fly [sic]. He has not been very sick and has taken good care of himself and will soon be all right. I am going to ask a favor. I am anxious to get some statistics on the eastern half of the State of Montana and I thought you might be willing to get a letter from someone high enough up so that clerks in the necessary offices would be willing to help get the data we want. If you will do this have the letter written to Mr. C. A. Ross, Belt, Montana, as he is going up to Helena to get the material for us. We will appreciate this courtesy very much. What we want is the area and population of the eastern counties. Sincerely yours,
