From Nancy C. Russell to Mrs. Charles L. Sheely, March 9, 1935
Description
Typed letter to Mrs. Charles L. Sheely dated March 9, 1935 states not being able to recall a book with an illustration that Charles M. Russell may or may not have done that Mrs. Sheely is referring to.
725 Michigan Blvd., Pasadena, California. March 9th, 1935. Mrs. Charles L. Sheely, West 208 Twenty-Sixth Avenue, Spokane, Washington. My dear Mrs. Sheely: Referring to your letter of recent date, I am sorry I cannot recall a book with the picture Describe [sic] in it as illustration. There are colored prints of a hold-up and it is possible Mr. Rusell [sic] did a pen and ink of the same subject but I cannot tell you whether or not they are used as illustrations. It is most gratifying to have people say they enjoy ‘Good Medicine’, and I am happy to have people know him through that book. I think it would be considered as containing his best illustrations. Very truly yours,
