Transcript

725 Michigan Blvd., Pasadena, California. March 9th, 1935. Mrs. Charles L. Sheely, West 208 Twenty-Sixth Avenue, Spokane, Washington. My dear Mrs. Sheely: Referring to your letter of recent date, I am sorry I cannot recall a book with the picture Describe [sic] in it as illustration. There are colored prints of a hold-up and it is possible Mr. Rusell [sic] did a pen and ink of the same subject but I cannot tell you whether or not they are used as illustrations. It is most gratifying to have people say they enjoy ‘Good Medicine’, and I am happy to have people know him through that book. I think it would be considered as containing his best illustrations. Very truly yours,
