Transcript

February 12, 1930. Dearest Helen, Your note saying you were so near me sure gave me a thrill! You people are to come to “Trail’s End” and make it your headquarters, while in this section., I have plenty of room for the four of you, because without doubt, you have a nurse with Mary Ellen. My house is not so very large but my welcome is big enough to make up for that. Just give me a wire when you will arrive and , if you are not driving, I’ll meet you at the station; if you are, I am enclosing a card that has a little map of where my place is and it is when you first enter Pasadena, coming from the East. If you have any difficulty, call me on the ‘phone and I’ll outline the trail that leads to me. Gee, Whiz, folks, I can hardly wait to see you! Jack is home and is thrilled too over the prospects of seeing Aunt Helen and Uncle Malc. Oodles of love to you both and looking forward to a visit, oh, so soon! Sincerely, Mrs. M.S. MacKay, Jokake, Scottsdale, Arizona. NCR:ED
