Typed letter from Nancy C. Russell to Judge Jas. W. Bollinger dated May 26, 1920 regrets that the Judge could not visit that summer.
May 26th, 1920. Mr. Jas. W. Bollinger, Davenport, Iowa. My dear Judge:- Your letter of May 22d [sic] received, and we are so sorry that you are not coming to the Lake this summer, but look forward to seeing you on your two-day visit up there. I suppose we will have to go up to the hotel and camp right with you those two days, so that you and Charley can name the picture and make your plans for the Fall hunt. Charley joins me in best wishes to you all. Sincerely,

The Homer and Helen Britzman collection consists of over 10,000 objects belonging to Charles M. Russell including letters, drawings, personal belongings, photos, and other memorabilia. Homer Britzman worked extensively with Charles Russell’s wife, Nancy, to write Russell’s biography. Chain of custody: Nancy Russell, Homer and Helen Britzman, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Amon Carter (inventoried collection in 1997), Gilcrease Management Trust (will become property of TU Special Collections if management agreement between TU and the City of Tulsa is severed).
