Typed letter from Nancy C. Russell to The Atlas Studios dated June 8, 1929 about receiving the George Sack requested photographs and how she will take the images to the engravers to see if they can be reproduced.

June 8, 1 9 2 8. The Atlas Studios, 36 E. 23d St., New York City. Gentlemen: The photographs that Mr. George D. Sack asked you to send me have been received and they are excellent. I will take them to the engravers and if they feel that they cannot get the [andper?] reproductions from these, will let you know. Thank you so much for sending them. I appreciate Mr. Sack’s courtesy too. Very truly, NCR:ED

The Homer and Helen Britzman collection consists of over 10,000 objects belonging to Charles M. Russell including letters, drawings, personal belongings, photos, and other memorabilia. Homer Britzman worked extensively with Charles Russell’s wife, Nancy, to write Russell’s biography. Chain of custody: Nancy Russell, Homer and Helen Britzman, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Amon Carter (inventoried collection in 1997), Gilcrease Management Trust (will become property of TU Special Collections if management agreement between TU and the City of Tulsa is severed).
