Description

Typed letter from Nancy C. Russell to Mr. George D. Sack dated January 14, 1929 expressed help to get the plaster casts from a vendor that have been broken or mutilated so she can compare them to the models that she has at home.

Transcript

January 14, 1 9 2 9. Mr. Sack, You see from my letter to Mr. Bertelli that I want the plaster casts. If you would urge him, when you go over, to send them ( the mutilated ones) to me to see if I could get them put together properly, I really am anxious to have the plaster casts in my hands, in order that I may see the ones that can be reproduced again and those that cannot be. The only way I will know is to have them here where I can look at them with my models that I have at home and, if you will, please look over all the bronze and don’t hesitate to tell them what is wronge [sic] because you know everything on those bronzes better than any human I am acquainted with. This may be too much of an imposition. It is leaning pretty hard on friendship but I am hoping you are willing to do it for us. Kindest regards to Madeline and love to the little girl. Sincerely, NCR:ED
