January 9th, 1929 Mr. I.W.Church Ford Bldg. Great Falls Montana. Dear Jerry; Enclosed is the form for Transfer and Inheritance Tax from the State of Missouri, covering personal property belonging to the estate of Mr Russell in that state. The enclosed letter from the Secretary of the company will explain that a certified copy of Letters is to be attached. Will you please attend to this and forward the papers to A.C. Russell 3314 Morganford Road, St. Louis, Missouri. If necessary to fill in any thing else in the form which we have omitted will you please attend to that also. Yours very truly,

The Homer and Helen Britzman collection consists of over 10,000 objects belonging to Charles M. Russell including letters, drawings, personal belongings, photos, and other memorabilia. Homer Britzman worked extensively with Charles Russell’s wife, Nancy, to write Russell’s biography. Chain of custody: Nancy Russell, Homer and Helen Britzman, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Amon Carter (inventoried collection in 1997), Gilcrease Management Trust (will become property of TU Special Collections if management agreement between TU and the City of Tulsa is severed).
