[1] Jan 15-13 My dear Mrs Russell- How is the calf roundup coming along – I hope that before long the last calf will have bawled and taken his med- icine and that the herd will be ready to turn loose again to graze on my wall for the rest of their days – Would like you to have the picture framed by the people that all ways[sic] do your work, and shipped to me at Tenafly N.J. by express - will we have [next] [2] the pleasure of seeing you all this spring – Mrs. Mackay joins me in sending kind regards to you both --- Very Truly yours [signed] Malcolm S. The Homer and Helen Britzman collection consists of over 10,000 objects belonging to Charles M. Russell including letters, drawings, personal belongings, photos, and other memorabilia. Homer Britzman worked extensively with Charles Russell’s wife, Nancy, to write Russell’s biography. Chain of custody: Nancy Russell, Homer and Helen Britzman, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Amon Carter (inventoried collection in 1997), Gilcrease Management Trust (will become property of TU Special Collections if management agreement between TU and the City of Tulsa is severed).
