Description

Typed letter from G.T. Nelson to Nancy C. Russell dated September 13, 1928, concerning the sale of a group of bronzes to an Eastern dealer; Grand Central Gallery believes that it would be to Nancy C. Russell's advantage to sell them as a lot, dealer's name not given.

Transcript

September 13, 1928 Mrs. Nancy M. Russell, Belton, Mont. Dear Mrs. Russell: I believe Mr. Barrie has communicated with you previously regarding the possibility of selling a large group of Mr. Russell’s bronzes at a wholesale price to a dealer here in the east. We do not have any record of hearing from you in the matter and as we are anxious to assemble the group to be sold, and believing it would be wise and profitable for you to have these bronzes included, we would very much appreciate some word from you as to your decision. Hoping your reply will be favorable, and with kindest regards, I am Yours very truly, [signed]G.T. Nelson G.T. NELSON GTN FT
