From Grand Central Gallery to Miss Heaney, August 17, 1937
Description
From Grand Central Gallery, August 17, 1937, explanation of gallery discount.
August 17, 1937 Miss Ruth W. Heaney Sec. to Mrs. Nancy Russell 725 Michigan Blvd. Pasadena, Calif. Dear Miss Heaney: I find your note of July 29th on my return from my vacation. The bronze was sold to go into a large public collection in a gallery in the Middle West. We allowed them a 10% museum discount which is customary in the trade. As a matter of fact most galleries allow 20% but we only allowed in 10% in this case. Yours truly, [signed] Erwin S. Barrie ESB:RB Manager
