Transcript

Trail’s End Pasadena, California January 20, 1928 Mr. E.E. Givens Huntsgerger[sic] & Givens Co. Great Falls, Montana Dear Mr. Givens: I was checking over my picture policy and feel that I am now going to make a simpler insurance, that is just fire and theft on the pictures here at my home, 725 Michigan Blvd. Pasadena. I do not feel that I can carry as heavy a policy, or I mean premium, so I am taking that way of reducing the cost. I will call one of the agents in the locality and in sure through them as it will be much simpler than to try to keep in touch with the Great Falls agent so please cancel my policy in Great Falls instead of renewing it. I am going to insure the car through the California Auto- mobile Club so when the present policy expires please do not renew it. I believe I am carrying burglary, tornado, water damage and fire insurance on furniture at 1219 Fourth Ave. N. which I would like to cancel as my household goods were all taken from that address last June. Please leave the studio covered for the time being. I thank you Mr. Givens for all the attention and care you have taken of me in the past and trust that I will find someone in my own neighborhood that will be as interested in my business. Sincerely, MG
