Feb. 27, 1914. Mr. William B. Campbell, Dorothy, Alta. Dear Sir: Your letter of Feb. 19 recd. I think you are right in leaving the picture to Chas. and I am sure he will please you. I note that you say you expect to be in Great Falls next month, but we shall be London where we exhibit at the Dore Galleries, 35 New Bond St. during the month of April. If have any friends over there who would like to see the pictures we would be glad to show them the paintings. I shall let you know as soon as we reach home and promise you that Chas. will then finish your picture. Remember me kindly to Mrs. Campbell. Sincerely,

The Homer and Helen Britzman collection consists of over 10,000 objects belonging to Charles M. Russell including letters, drawings, personal belongings, photos, and other memorabilia. Homer Britzman worked extensively with Charles Russell’s wife, Nancy, to write Russell’s biography. Chain of custody: Nancy Russell, Homer and Helen Britzman, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Amon Carter (inventoried collection in 1997), Gilcrease Management Trust (will become property of TU Special Collections if management agreement between TU and the City of Tulsa is severed).
