[1] Calgary Dee 10/17 Mrs. C.M. Russell. Great Falls, Montana Dear Mrs Russell. In answer to yours of Oct 19th would like to say that I would like the picture (Indian grave) shipped to Calgary 1115, 8th Avenue West. You know best how to ship it. Will there be duty to pay? Regarding payment would it be alright if I sent payment in 3 instalments[sic] of $400 each. Will send $400 as soon as I hear from you & will sign note [2] for balance Hoping you will charge a reasonable interest. Expecting to hear from you shortly I remain yours Sincerely W.B. Campbell P.S. I expect to be here now for some time so please let me know as soon as possible because when I am gone I have trouble ^getting^ mail. WBC

The Homer and Helen Britzman collection consists of over 10,000 objects belonging to Charles M. Russell including letters, drawings, personal belongings, photos, and other memorabilia. Homer Britzman worked extensively with Charles Russell’s wife, Nancy, to write Russell’s biography. Chain of custody: Nancy Russell, Homer and Helen Britzman, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Amon Carter (inventoried collection in 1997), Gilcrease Management Trust (will become property of TU Special Collections if management agreement between TU and the City of Tulsa is severed).
