From Nancy C. Russell to Mrs. C.F. Kelley, October 4, 1928
Description
From Nancy C. Russell, October 4, 1928, request for loan of "The Phantom of Kootenai Lodge" for an exhibition.
October 4, 1928 Mrs. C.F. Kelley 907 Fifth Avenue New York, N. Y . Dear Mrs. Kelley: The date has been definitely set for the little exhibition I am going to have of Charlie’s things at the Grand Central Art Galleries for October 24th. If you are willing, as you seemed to be when I saw you at Swan Lake, to allow me to exhibit your painting of the Swan Mountains or “The Phantom of Kootenai Lodge”, will you have it sent to the Gallery, 15 Vanderbilt Avenue on October 23rd. I have told them of the picture and they will be looking for it. I hope to have the pleasure of seeing the Kelley family while I am east and I am planning on being there the open- ing day which is October 24th. Sincerely, MGS
