Transcript

Bigfork, Montana, August 24th, 1929. Mrs. Nancy C. Russell, Bull Head Lodge, Belton, Montana. Dear Mrs. Russell: I have but lately returned to Swan Lake from a number of absences. I expect to be here continuous- ly until after the first of September. Mary and I had decided to drive to Lake McDonald this week with some guests, but have been forced to aban- don the trip, on account of the fires. I hope that the fires have not inconvenienced you. If you are intending to remain at Lake McDonald, I will, as soon as traveling conditions are a little better, be pleased to come up and visit; or if you would care to come to Swan Lake, Mary and I would be delighted to have you come and pay us a visit. We have just hung temporarily Charlie’s picture. It looks quite well. The picture is one of the matters that I wish to discuss with you. With kind regards, I am Very sincerely yours, [signed] C.F. Kelley CFK/wk
