Description
From Philip Cole, June 3, 1927, mentions Father de Smedt painting.
June 3, 1927 PGC: EG Mrs. Charles M. Russell, Great Falls, Montana. Dear Nancy: I am pressed for time and do not have y our last letter at hand, so I ill acknowledge it hurriedly. I am glad that you were pleased with the photographs. Presume that the frame for “Father de Smed” will be ar- riving within a few days , and trust that you will send the picture itself on with the least possible delay, for as you know, we are leaving for Lake Placid at Lake Placid, N. Y. about the first of July. At that time also they will begin tearing out a part of the house to make the new Charley Russell Room. Sincerely yours, [signed] Dr. Philip G. Cole E.S. P.S. Dictated but not read.
