Description
From Nancy C. Russell, May 22, 1933, to Mr. Miller at Gainsborough Art Studio, "A Bronc to Breakfast" for $5000, what is her commission to be?
725 Michigan Blvd., Pasadena, California May 22nd, 1933 Mr. W. St. J. Miller, The Gainsborough Art Studio, 703 Second Street, West, Calgary, Alberta, C a n a d a. Dear Sir: Your letter of May 15th, received with a photograph of “A Bronc to Breakfast” enclosed. I will take the matter up with my client, meanwhile I should like to know what my commission will be if it is to come out of the $5,000.00 as I understand from your letter $5,000.00 is the gross amount and I know you have to have a commission. The prices of the Campbell pictures are too high for me to even suggest that I might be able to dispose of them. Thank you for the information regarding these pictures. By the time I hear from you regarding the commission, I shall have heard from my client and will be able to let you know his decision. It is very possible he will not be interested at all at this time. Thank you for the information. Sincerely,
