Transcript

November 25 1925 Dr. Phillip G. Cole, 470 Vanderbilt Avenue, Brooklyn, N.Y. Dear Dr. Cole: Charlie wrote you a little letter a few days ago and I trust it gave you the story of the picture you wanted. We are glad you like “Pay Dirt” because we too felt it was a good piece of work. I am not going to write a long letter as I hope to see you in New York the first week in December. Our address will be 52 Gramercy Park, North and we will have our pictures there. We have some new water colors and, not in view of your buy- ing any, but because of your love for Charlie’s work, we would like to have you and Mrs. Cole call on us whenever it is convenient for you. Joe DeYong, the boy you spoke of, had a small picture of some lodges that Charlie thought was very good. I had him send it to your for you to see something the style of thing he does. He really does figures very well too. If you like the little teepee, picture, he is asking $100 for it. If you don’t care for it, will you please return it to him as it is part of an order for someone else. I am looking forward to seeing you in New York next week. Sincerely,
