Transcript

November 1, 1929 Mr. Lewis Heitman Helena, Montana Dear Mr. Heitman: Your letter of October 26th received. Regarding the standing of the Biltmore Salon, it is one of the best ones I Los Angeles and Mr. Cowie is a sincere sort of person who would take an interest, I think, in anything that was Mr. Russell’s. You need have no fear about the safety of your pictures if sent to them, although he might have difficulty in selling them as I imagine they are very old and many of Charlie’s older things do not appeal to people as much as his later work, but there is always someone who wants them and the Biltmore has more oppor- tunity to meet those people than anyone I know. I trust you will dispose of them as you desire. Very truly, NCR: ED
