Transcript

[handwritten] August 14 1921 Mrs. C.M. Russell G. Falls Mt. Dear Mrs. Russell, I received your letter of May 19 and I hope you will pardon the delay in my answer at the time I had not started your work yet and since then I thought it best to finish your work before leaving for Italy. I am now glad to inform you that I sent this morning by express the six wolf casts. I wish to apologize for my not paying the express charge as I gave my workman five dollars and the change being more he sent it O.O.D. Your greeting for my arrival came quite to soon as I am leaving for Italy on the twentieth of next month. However I will notify you of my return as soon as possible.
