Description

Letter by Nancy C. Russell to Erwin S. Barrie; asks Barrie for payment on the three bronzes mentioned in TU2009.39.2531. Typed.

Transcript

April 23, 1929. Mr. Erwin S. Barrie Grand Central Art Galleries 15 Vanderbilt Ave., New York City. Dear Mr. Barrie: In March, I wrote the Gallery asking about payment for the three bronzes Mr. Lacey sold out of my exhibition. They were “Where The Best of Riders Quit”, “The Bucker and the Buckeroo” and “The Broncho Twister.” The payment for these pieces has most likely been overlooked or delayed in some way and I would appreciate it very much if you could attend to it for me. The selling prices on these were $750.00 each. Thank you for your personal attention in this matter. Sincerely, NCR:ED
