Inscribed, "Born in Ala., 1829. Was a member of the Creek National Council in 1867 that adopted the Constituion of the Creek Nation. Judge of the Okmulgee (illegible) Council, 1877. Leader of the insurgents in the (illegible) War in 1822. Judge of the Supreme Court of the nation, 1893-95. Was a member of the Comission of the Creek Nation that negotiated the original Creek Agreements, approved by the Nation, May 25, 1901. Died Dec. 23, 1902. He represents the (illegible) of the American Indian." on verso
