Inscribed, "At left: Tallahasse chief of this portion of the Seminoles wearing his insignia of office. Women & girls dressed in their finest clothes and loaded down with beads and silver ornaments, the latter made from silver coin. Camp in shell ground. (The young me would not be photographed because they has no clean shirts.) on verso
