Stamped, "Chief Good Horse, The Young War Chief. Chief Good Horse was a cousin of Crazy Horse, the great general, and took a prominent part in the Custer fight. Crazy Horse, with a dashing band of young warriors and supported by a brand of young braves commanded by Good Horse, fought General Crook on the 17th of June, 1876, and forced him and his command to a rapid retreat. General Crook was on the way to join General Custer on the Little Big Horn. No photos were ever taken of Crazy Horse." on verso
