Scope and Contents

This sub-series is comprised of 20 folders of 87 photographs of various members of the Williams family, ranging in approximate date from the early 1900s to the 1970s. Among the Williams family members photographed are Mildred Williams (née Peevyhouse) who is a cousin of Eddie Faye Gates and the wife of Lloyd Hume Williams, Sr., a prominent pharmacist and owner of Williams Drug Store at 119 North Greenwood. Also photographed are Lloyd H. Williams, Jr., also a pharmacist and his sister Beryl Anita Bolton (née Williams).

The Eddie Faye Gates collection is open for research. Restrictions pertaining to the use of these materials may apply based on copyright and/or licensing.
