Scope and Contents
Sub-series is comprised of 13 folders with 42 photographs. Dates range from the 1970s to the mid-2000s. The photographs consist of miscellaneous photographs of various people and places, including Eddie Faye Gates speaking at the John Hope Franklin Boulevard dedication ceremony, and Sunday School at the First Church of Christ Scientist. Notable people are Hopie D. Ellis, Brent Moore, Tom Clark, Geoffrey Cline, Rufus Henderson, Bea Trigg, Renee Earley, Sonya Swinton, Wilhelmina Guess Howell, George LeRiche, Leigh Ann Zeigler, and Sarah Anne Robertson Frayser. There are several unidentified photo negative strips. There are photographs adhered to scrapbook pages of a Mississippi plantation slave ball and chain and a threshing engine on display with a closeup of the informational sign on the threshing engine.
