Don Ross was a State Representative who served the North Tulsa Black Community. He and former Senator Maxine Horner help build the Historical Greenwood Cultural Center on Greenwood.

Eddie Faye Gates worked to affect the work that Representative Don Ross had initiated to seek reparations for the Tulsa Massacre Survivors. Acknowledging the atrocities of the Race Massacre and a need for reparations was his mission. A scholarship for descendants of the victims was created by his legislation. This location has changed its name. It is now called Post Oak Lodge.
