Scope and Contents
Sub-series is comprised of 9 folders with 45 photographs. Dates range from 1988-2004. The photographs consist of images from various events held at the Greenwood Cultural Center, as well as images from Tulsa Juneteenth and Tulsa Jazz Festival events. Notable subjects included in these photographs are Attallah Shabazz, Mozelle Lewis, Senator Maxine Horner, Jerry Goodwin, Millard House, Mabel Rice, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dawson, Verna Taliaferra, Ron Gilliam, Maxine Johnson, Joe Williams, Virginia Franklin, Jean Jones, Representative Don Ross, Dr. Lawrence Reed, Mabel B. Little, Michael Rosenbaum, Tony Matthews, Lowell Fulson, Shelby Minner, Lionel Hampton, Mercer Ellington and The Duke Ellington Orchestra, Stanley Jordan, Diane Schur, and Miss Yoko Sisasawa.
