Includes copy of note from Captain William Armstrong, Western Superintendent of Indian Affairs to Gaither, who has some "papers of importance"; he considers "all objections removed" provided the "Cherokees have a government" and are prepared to make disbursements from funds on hand for "national purposes.' Rear side of above note from J. Parker Ridgeway to Ross. Folded sheet of paper with handwritten text in ink on three pages. Folder 756
