Letter from White Catcher and 20 officers of the 2nd and 3rd Indian Regiments, Brigadier General J. G. Blunts Headquarters, Cane Hill, Arkansas to Chief John Ross asking his aid in detaining reinstatement of Cherokee in their homes, with bread furnished until crops can be produced at home. (Moulton).
