Kate stated that she was writing because she had a chance to send a letter by Mr. Boudinot. Kate told her sister she wished Sugie [sic] could have come to school there and she was getting on well. Kate would be going into the kitchen the next week but she found it fun. She urged her sister to come up at Christmas and asked if she was going to come and stay with Cousin Sue that winter.
