Petition to Wm. West protesting J. A. Foreman operating a sheep ranch , July 19, 1882
William West was the Sheriff of the Canadian District of the Cherokee Nation. J. A. Foreman was a not citizen operating a sheep ranch two miles east of Muskogee. The were problems with the sheep ranch operating near all the cattle so the petitioners wanted the sheep ranch to be moved. Folder 478
