Dinner plate with floral decoration, early 20th century to 1926
The dinner plate is made of cream colored earthenware with a transparent glaze that has a small interval craquelure. A Floral band, approximately .25 inch wide, decorates the outer edge of the plate and is composed of black, green, pink, yellow and gold over glaze enamels, possibly a transfer print. The plate has been used as a palette and has a thick accretions of dried white paint and thin areas of several other colors: blue, red, yellow, dark green, red brown, and dark brown.
Eyeglasses and Case, late 19th century - early 20th century
Glasses: round, bifocal lenses with silver trim, includes nose piece, but no ear pieces; Case: black leather, blue velvet inside with plaque reading "Wacker and Downs"; pink cloth also included.
