Document certifies that Perry Brewer sold 270 bushels of corn for the use of government meals in February of 1862. At the time of sale, Perry Brewer received pay in Confederate money from Joseph Williamson and never received any other pay for the corn. Folder 256

S. for a honorable peace. 4026.1859.1 is a letter from the office of the National Secretary. William Harrison certified that 4026.1859 was a true copy and that the original was on file in his office. He was the National Secretary for the Chickasaw Nation. Folder 335
