Fisher Brothers & Co. were located in St. Louis at 206 and 208 North Commercial Street. Letter was composed with detail of the company and services they could offer. Letterhead contained a picture of an African American sitting by bales of cotton. Folder 406

Letter on Springfield F. & M. Insurance Company in Chicago. Red Text on letterhead reads, "Jas. C. Buchanan, Soliciting Agent, Webbers Falls, Indian Territory". The letter opens with the salutation "Please accept this as a token of esteem by one who remembers where turkeys and honey came from". Buchanan stated that the item received was not as white as Buchanan would have liked. Buchanan would have given a nicer one. Folder 550
