Russell, [typed] I started on my life journey in Wales, June 5th, 1836. June 14th, 1864 I reached Alder Gulch, Montana Territory. June 5th, 1916, I am in Great Falls at Hotel Rainbow with sixty-five of my friends enjoying a banquet given to me on my eightieth birthday. [handwritten] Robt Vaughn".
