Certification stated that on October 1, 1863 Major S. J. Lee transferred to him a list of certain salines in the neighborhood of Webbers Falls known as Drew's Salt Works and belonged to Col. John Drew. John Drew to be paid $400.00 per month and was paid in full at that rate up to the 1st day of October 1863. Capt. Cline dropped the said saline's from his payroll from stated date and he has not paid Drew any compensation. Folder 328
