Land was acquired when town called Keetoowhah was divide up and auctioned off. These two lots were acquired in auction by D. R. Coody for $116.00. Coody sold the property to F. H. Nash and was signed by acting Chief James Vann. Deed states that land cannot be sold to a non-Cherokee citizen. Folder 359
