Elizabeth updated Emma on the crops and livestock. Elizabeth encouraged Emma to be a good Christian and to encourage her husband William to do the same. Elizabeth informed her son that Lizzie, Alice, and Kate all left for the Bluff Sunday and are well. Kate told her that he had another baby boy and had named it Red Cloud.
